VLT continues its 88th Season with
PERFECT WEDDING, by Robin Hawdon
June 9-11, 15-18, 22-24
The Very Little Theatre continues its 88th season with a delightful comedy, Perfect Wedding, by Robin Hawdon. The play is that rare combination: a riotous comedy and a touching love story at the same time.
Director Karen Scheeland says "Perfect Wedding is a great way to sit back, relax, and enjoy an uncomplicated evening of laughter." The play opens in the Bridal Suite of a converted country house hotel in England. It is the morning of the wedding between Bill and Rachel. However, when Bill awakes, there is a strange woman in his bed. Who is this mystery woman? The best man, Tom, arrives and the action starts with the goal of how to keep the mystery woman from the bride. They are helped, hindered, and frustrated by the chambermaid, Julie, while the mother-of-the bride, Daphne, is totally oblivious. Will there be a Perfect Wedding? We leave that up to you to decide!
The cast includes Diana Sobczynski as Rachel; Peter Fehrs as Bill; Mark Anderson as Tom; Alison Meeler as Judy (the mystery woman); Samantha Cross as Julie; and Tere Tronson as Daphne.
