What time do shows begin at the VLT?
Our shows being at 7:30pm Thursday-Saturday and 2pm on Sundays. Doors open 1 hour prior to curtain time.
How do I purchase tickets online?
Step 1: Click the "Buy Tickets Here" button on the homepage, "Tickets" on the Box Office page, or "Buy Tickets" on the show page.
Step 2: Pick your performance date.
Step 3: Select your seats and click the blue "Confirm Seats” button.
Step 4: Log in or check out as a guest.
If you are a Season Pass holder, please log in using the email address on file. If you do not, your "Season Pass" will not pop up as a payment option and you will need to enter the passcode to redeem tickets using your pass.
Step 5: If logging in, please enter your password (this is not your passcode) or if prompted, create a password. Then fill in or check/correct the required information and click the blue "Save and Continue" button.
If checking out as a guest, please fill in the required information and click the blue "Save and Continue” button.
Step 6: Pay for your tickets. If you are a Season Pass holder your Pass will pop up as a payment option above where you enter credit card information. DO NOT PAY WITH A CREDIT CARD IF YOU WANT TO REDEEM TICKETS USING YOUR SEASON PASS. If your Season Pass does not show up, please enter the passcode in “Code" box at the top of the page and hit “apply."
Step 7: Once you have entered all the correct payment information or applied your Season Pass, hit the blue "Complete Order" button at the bottom. If you do not click this, your order will not be processed.
Step 8: Once your order has processed, your screen will show "Thank you! Your order is complete" and a confirmation email will be sent to your email address. If this does not show up or a confirmation is not sent then your order was most likely not completed and you should contact the box office.
How do I redeem my Open Season Passes?
You can redeem your Open Season Pass either through our website or through the Box Office. Prior to each show the Box Office will send out a reservation form through email or the postal service.

What are reservation forms?
Reservation forms are forms sent to Season Pass Holders, either through email or the postal service, to order your tickets for each show prior to them becoming available to the general public. Reservation forms are processed in the order they are received starting at noon the day tickets become available to Season Pass Holders.
How can I receive my reservation form through email?
Please contact the box office by phone or email to let us know you would like to receive the reservation forms through email.

When do tickets become available?
Tickets become available 4 weeks before the show opens for Season Pass holders and 3 weeks before the show opens for the General Public.

What are your ticket prices?
Ticket prices are:
Senior (60+): $15

Do you offer a group discount on tickets?
Yes, for parties of 15 or more we will offer a group discount of $15 a ticket for General Main Stage shows and $19 for the Musical on Friday or Saturday performances only.

Can I put tickets on hold and pay later?
Yes, you can with some restrictions. This needs to be done either over the phone or in person at the box office. Also, you must pay for your tickets by 6 pm end of box office day one week prior to the performance you would like to attend.
Are there any ticket fees?
Yes, there is a $1 per ticket fee for orders online. There is also a $2 flat rate fee for orders over the phone.

Can I return my tickets?
Season pass holders may return a ticket purchased using their Season Pass. Otherwise, all ticket sales are final and no refunds are given.
Can I exchange my tickets?
Yes, if your plans change, you may exchange your tickets for a different date of the same production by calling our Box Office. There is a $1 per ticket exchange fee, which will be waived for season pass holder.
What happens if I am late to a show?
Ticketed patrons arriving late will be seated at intermission or a suitable break in the show, subject to seat availability. Please note latecomers could be seated in a location other than the one ticketed.
Is there a waitlist if a show is sold out?
Yes, to get on a Waiting List, contact our Box Office with your name, phone number, the performance you wish to attend, and the number of seats needed. We will do our very best to find you a seat!

Do you have an inclement weather policy?
Yes, in the event of inclement weather the theater will contact you by phone or email to let you know the show has been canceled. We will also post cancellation notices on the homepage of the website as well as on Facebook. If you are unable to make a performance due to inclement weather (and the show was not canceled), please contact the box office and we will do our best to accommodate you.
At what age does your senior discount begin?
Our senior discount begins at age 60.
Can I give a season pass as a gift? If so, how?
Yes, you can! The easiest way to do this is to purchase a gift certificate for the amount of the season pass. This allows the gift holder the opportunity to purchase the pass for themselves in their own name. This also allows the box office to have the correct pass holder information.
Do you keep my credit card information on file?
No, for security reasons, no credit card information is saved. When purchasing using your credit card you will need to enter this information every time.
Is my passcode the same as a password?
No. Your passcode is provided to you when you purchase a Season Pass. It is used to redeem tickets for each show. Your password is created by you (the box office and Arts People do not know it). It is used to log in when purchasing tickets online.
What is your parking like?
The VLT has dedicated parking on the North and South sides of the building. Parking spaces along the apartment complex are not available to us; if VLT spaces are full please check for public parking in adjacent blocks.
Do you offer refreshments?
Snacks may be purchased at the refreshment counter, in the lobby, before the show or at intermission. Decaf coffee and water are available in Stage Left during intermission for Main Stage shows only.
Do you allow outside food or drink?
We allow closed containers such as water bottles.
Do you sell alcohol?
At the moment we do not sell alcohol but it is something the Theatre is looking into.
Do you accept donation requests?
Yes, please send all donation requests to the box office either through email or by postal service.

How can I become a member?
To gain membership, volunteers must participate in the running of two shows in two different capacities, attend two membership meetings, and submit a letter to the membership requesting to join. Members are expected to continue to volunteer to the best of their ability and personal fulfillment.
Are seats reserved for your performances?
Our Main Stage shows are reserved seating. Our Stage Left shows are general admission, so first come first serve.
Where are you located?
Our theater is located at 2350 Hilyard St. We are on the corner where Patterson turns into Hilyard, diagonally from Sundance Market.
Do you rent your space out?
Requests for use of the space should be submitted to [email protected] Rental requests will be reviewed by the board for approval and set up of terms. Space in our calendar is limited, not all requests can be granted.

Is your theater wheelchair accessible?
Yes it is. We currently have 1 designated wheelchair seat with 3 companion seats next to it.
Do you offer listening devices?
Yes we do. The theater has 20 listing devices. We suggest contacting the box office prior to the performance you are attending to reserve a listening device.
Is the theater air conditioned?
Yes it is!
