Dressed For The Part
A Diamond Jubilee of Theatre Fashions
As part of our 75th anniversary celebration, The VLT put nearly 200 of our most interesting and glamorous costumes on stage for a very special "fashion show". Some of these costume were made for productions during our 75 years, others are originals donated to us — including some vintage turn-of-the-century dresses and accessories.
The program combined fashion, music, and commentary: Caitriona Bolster of KWAX radio was the mistress of ceremonies, with "color commentary" by Carol Thibeau and Robert Foster. Friday-Sunday Nov.14-16*, Friday-Sunday Nov.21-23. The Nov. 16 performance was a benefit hosted by the Alzheimer's Association and McKenzie-Willamette Adult Day Health Care.
