This touching play, which cleverly interweaves death, quantum mechanics, and gardening, won the Critic's Circle Award for Best New Play in 2001. The play looks at how emotionally damaged astrophysicist Felix Humble moves on from the sudden death of his beekeeper father, comes to terms with his overbearing mother, and faces reconciliation with his childhood love. The show mixes moments of broad comedy with subtler, poignant touches.
