A comedy by Noel Coward.

The plot of this play (sometimes thought to be semi-autobiographical) follows a few days in the life of a successful and self-obsessed actor Garry Essendine as he prepares to travel for a theatrical tour. Amid a series of events bordering on farce, Garry must deal with interruptions from numerous women who want to seduce him, and the impending mid-life crisis of his 40th birthday. A script loaded with Noel Coward's witty sophistication and charm.

Present Laughter opens January 16, 2009; directed by Fred Gorelick.

An Opening Night Gala will follow the January 16 performance, with the audience invited to enjoy free refreshments with the cast in VLT’s Stage Left.
