About Adobe Reader

You will need Adobe Reader version 5.0 or later to view the PDF (Portable Document Format) files available on TheVLT.com. The free Adobe Reader software enables you to open and print PDF files. On the Adobe Web site, you can find out more about the PDF format at What is Adobe PDF?,  and also about Adobe Reader.

How do I download and install Adobe Reader?

Adobe Acrobat Reader is free. Click on the icon to the left to go to the download page at at Adobe's Web site: www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

When you download the file, save it to your computer in a folder where you can easily find it again. After downloading the file, go to that folder on your computer, and double-click on the ".exe" file to install the software. Adobe Reader will create its own library on your system.

To troubleshoot any problems, go to the Adobe Reader Support page. Adobe provides information on the top customer support issues, technical guides, a searchable support database, user forums, and direct person-to-person support.
