To become eligible for membership in The Very Little Theatre, an applicant must work on two productions, each in a different capacity-such as acting, stage managing, costumes, lights, props, etc. In lieu of a second production, the applicant may do three separate "tasks," which might involve work in the box office, attending a work party, helping with refreshments, publicity, etc. The applicant must also attend two VLT General Membership meetings, normally held the first Sunday of each month.
In addition to a continuing working commitment to the VLT, members pay annual dues of $15. Each member receives a monthly newsletter and has voting privileges at the monthly meetings. Meetings consist of a business session, entertainment, and refreshments. The current membership of The Very Little Theatre is comprised of more than 100 people, of all ages and occupations, bound together by a mutual commitment and love of Theatre.
There is also a VLT Guild, composed of individuals who may have little interest in full membership, but still wish to contribute their skills to the VLT. Participation at any level is welcome!
